Luigi De Laurentiis was born on March 5th 1979. He is a young Italian Producer, son of Aurelio De Laurentiis

Luigi moved to Los Angeles where he studied Film Production at the University of Southern California; after graduating in May 2003, he got his Master’s Degree in Film Finance and Marketing, also from USC

He then decided to return to Italy, where he started working for Filmauro. He began as Line Producer for CHRISTMAS IN LOVE, directed by Neri Parenti, a comedy that was number one at the box office in 2004. 

In 2005 he worked on the movie MANUALE D’AMORE, directed by Giovanni Veronesi, a box office blockbuster and a critical success: the film won 2 David di Donatello (the most important Italian cinema awards).

The same year Luigi served as Line Producer for NATALE A MIAMI, directed by Neri Parenti, a comedy that scored the highest box office gross in 2005.

In the spring of 2006 he was Executive Producer on the comedy IL MIO MIGLIOR NEMICO, directed by Carlo Verdone, which was  biggest box office hit of the year.

NATALE A NEW YORK, directed by Neri Parenti (2006), was the first film on which he got a producer credit along with his father.

Since than Luigi De Laurentiis  has produced more than 25 films among which NATALE A RIO, NATALE A BEVELY HILLS and COLPI DI FUMINE by Neri Parenti, UN NATALE STUPEFACENTE and NATALE COL BOSS  by Volfango De Biasi, ITALIANS and GENITORI E FIGLI by Giovanni Veronesi, GRANDE GROSSO E VERDONE, POSTI IN PIEDI IN PARADISO, SOTTO UNA BUONA STELLA and L’ABBIAMO FATTA GROSSA by Carlo Verdone.

He currently developed BENEDETTA FOLLIA the new Carlo  Verdone movie and SUPER VACANZE DI NATALE the best of 35 years of christmas comedies and  he’s developing  three tv series for International TV and Digital Platforms.
